    • What is Vicinity regional Talk Show?
      When the first regional talk show was launched in 2012, it aimed to gather people from the Western Balkans to encourage dialogue among countries in the region, outside the box of official politics, and open up a space for voices that are not commonly heard. Vicinities became a regional brand, and during its 6 seasons on 12 National Televisions (in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Serbia) millions of viewers followed over 300 guests who discussed and exchanged ideas about many sensitive topics. In 2016, Vicinities was awarded  the title of ”Media Initiative of the Year”  at the European Citizenship Awards for its contributions to promoting democratic values and positive steps towards freedom of European media.

About us

Vicinity is an open platform, available to all those from the region, or the Western Balkans, whose voice needs amplifying, and who are eager to express their critical perspective, fresh ideas and points of view on current affairs. Vicinity is a common initiative of the European Fund for Balkans and the European Fund in Serbia.
